Some venues make you nervous in a good way. The Estufa Fria in Lisbon is one of them: a historic greenhouse full of plants, paths and water, and for one week in December 2023, our exhibition space.

Chromaflora was a hybrid art exhibition organised by muti & Artsies Collective. It ran from 11 to 17 December and brought together 70+ artists from Portugal and abroad, with more than 50 digital and 20 physical works, combining nature, technology and sustainability. Every piece was also available as an NFT, so the show lived both in the greenhouse and online.

This project combined production and project management. It meant working with 70+ artists both online and in the physical world, talking to institutions, coordinating partners, and building a programme that included an opening night, talks, workshops and an afterparty as well as the actual production in the green house.
